Staff members were very friendly and helpful -- fantastic! Breakfast buffet was convenient, good for the price and included fresh fruit. Location was fairly convenient. Beds are comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily. Internet was fast and available in the rooms.

The showers are terrible -- a very poor design. They are not well ventilated so they smell a bit. Some of the showers didn't drain properly, so there was a pool of soiled water in the shower. The changing area outside of the shower was often a puddle as well. The mens bathroom was often out of toilet paper and hand paper towels. The hallways were occasionally very noisy late at night. (People can be a bit clueless, especially after a night of partying.) I was awakened a number of times

It's very clean, and the location is great.

The use of the public area isn't that good. Only a noisy bar for teenagers, there are't any other quite public areas that you can sit and use internet. Also there aren't any outlets in the bathroom.

At the reception desk a very warm welcome, the receptionist from Argentina guessed my name correctly. How nice! - I liked the international atmosphere a lot: Chinese and Turkish people in my room. We talked a lot before going to sleep. - Very friendly cleaning lady :-) I appreciated the places names at the doors of the rooms and the beautiful postcards in the lobby. Thanks for this nice stay!! All is very new and well kept :-)

The behaviour rules behind the desk of the hotel scared me a bit when I arrived... Accidently a security man was also there, so I thought about safety issues which turned out to be meaningless when I arrived in my room, so friendly and nice people :-)

Very nice location just near Alexander Platz - very closу the city centre. Excellent breakfast - buffet for 5.50 euro. Hostel staff very welcoming and pleasant.

Not so many space for kitchen - sometimes it's impossible to cook anything.

The staff were all super friendly, the rooms were huge with comfortable pillows and very cosy duvets. The toilets and showers were always clean. There was a staff at the reception at all times, location was fantastic. Really brilliant and most awesome hostel I have ever stayed in!

Few small things - shower rooms could do with a bit more hooks/shelves and with an adjustable shower head so you don't spill water around when you get in

the staff was very nice and helpful, the localization was really good. that's a perfect place to stay with friends or meet new people. great value for money.

the staff was out of padlocks to the security lockers so it's a good idea to take your own padlock with you (or you can buy one on alexanderplatz)

We stayed in a room with four beds. The room had a lot of space and everything was new. Also the bathrooms were brand new and very clean. The staff was extremely nice, helpfull and had a lot of nice tips to offer.

It was very clean, the guys at the reception very nice, the room spacious and modern. Showers and toilets of high standards as well. The location is excellent and I had even view to the Fernsehturm from my window. All these for only 13-15€-night plus 1€/24h internet. Great value for maney.

At the time of my staying, the common premices were under construction. :S This means, no lounge, no breakfast room (but because of this they offered juice and coffee for free at the reception-cool), no laundry, no kitchen and no bar. They should have at least mentioned that in the booking sites in internet...

Great location; friendly staff; very clean hostel; comfortable beds

My friend and I were quite disappointed - we had chosen this hostel, though it was slightly higher in price comparatively, based on the reviews stating that it was a lively atmosphere, a great place to meet people, etc. Though upon arrival we were informed that the bar on the top floor as well as the kitchen were closed for an undetermined period of time, therefore there was no common area to meet people. In face, the hostel was like a ghost town, no activity at all. We changed our reservation to stay just one night instead of the three we had originally reserved.

Cool staff and excellent location. Not a good choice for a couple but really good for backpackers.

Shower room wasn´t really confortable and some room inspector entered the room without asking or even knocking, which is really invasive in a couple's room.

Staff very helpful and nice, great location, and pristine hostel!

I really liked that everything was new and clean. The best part was to go in the shower and have a clean mat to put on the floor! The staff was very accommodating and everything was as described online. Great location, good value for money and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Berlin on a low budget!

The WiFi was a bit slow which was rather important for the purposes of my trip.

The staff are friendly, the bathroom facilities are excellent and clean, plus the beds were comfortable and clean.

There were no breakfast facilities available or social lounge to go to as the kitchen and lounge were apparently undergoing refurbishment.
